Walkman series's phones are one of most successful phones of it's time. Now time is changed. But now Sony Ericsson want it back in market. Sony Ericsson just announced its first Walkman smartphone running on Android 2.1 (Eclair), Sony Ericsson W8. Looking at it's design, Sony Ericsson W8 is almost looks like Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8. Sony Ericsson W8 design is very fancy with nice color options and a WALKMAN logo.
Sony Ericsson W8 has a 3.0 inch capacitive touchscreen. The primary camera is 3.2 MP. A 600MHz single core processor with 168MB of RAM powers up Sony Ericsson W8. Sony Ericsson W8 runs on android 2.1 OS with Timescape UI. Sony Ericsson W8 will be available in India, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia starting from Q2 2011. Sony Ericsson W8 will available in many colors like Azure Blue, Metallic Red, and Iconic Orange. Pricing is yet unknown, though.
